My background & experienceBilingual Spanish and Italian, I got a ESL Diploma at the Sheridan Institute in the United States, a Master Degree in Educational Sciences and Artistic Disciplines from the University of Turin, Italy and a Master Degree in Performing Arts, earned at the University of Paris, France. The first experiences in teaching date back to the first years of university where I taught Spanish and English in Italy. I worked as an interpreter in Nice, Cannes, Montecarlo and Strasburg. I lived and taught in South America, Spain, the United States and Japan. I currently live in Germany where I obtained the German Fluency Certificate from the Goethe Institute. Besides Spanish, Italian, English, French and German I speak Portuguese, Japanese and basic Modern Standard Arabic. In addition to a solid linguistic preparation my academic background has provided me with expertise in research methodology. This has enriched my linguistic knowledge with multidisciplinary qualities and perspectives, communication skills and intercultural exchange.
My classes and teaching styleI enjoy helping people achieve their goals, so the lessons are specially adapted to your wishes and your ability, whether you are a beginner or already possess advanced knowledge. I like to combine frontal teaching with cooperative learning and conversation, but I am happy to adapt to the teaching method of your choice. My lessons cover a wide variety of topics you can choose from. Of course you can propose your own program and I would be more than happy to design a course specifically based on your particular needs.
My student reviews
Such a practical first class, already learning some basic phrases in Italian. Ale is so bubbly and friendly and is an expert teacher. I very much recommend her classes.
