My background & experience

And I am a fully qualified teacher of Russian as a foreign language. I am a native speaker. I am well acquainted with Russian culture and way of life. Therefore, I will gladly share my experience with our lessons. I speak English freely.

My classes and teaching style

I have been teaching for 19 years. I am a certified teacher of Russian (both native and foreign) and literature and a native speaker. I offer one-to-one and mini-group lessons for students aged 6 and over. I have developed popular programs for online learning: Business Russian (levels A0-C1); Russian for the tourism employees (levels A1-A2); Russian for a tourist trip to Russia (levels A1-A2); Russian for bilinguals 1-4 grades (children 6-12 years old). I also give individual lessons of the Russian language A0-C1 levels with an emphasis on all 4 types of speech activity, phonetics, grammar, vocabulary, verbs of movement and linguistic studies and prepare students for the TORFL exams. Classes in our groups are 1 - 2 times a week according to local Reykjavik time: Monday and Thursday 12-00: Business Russian A2. Monday and Thursday 14-00: Business Russian B1. Monday and Thursday 16-00: Russian language for tourism employees A1-A2. Tuesday and Friday 12-00: Business Russian B2. Tuesday and Friday 14-00: Business Russian A0-A2. Tuesday and Friday 16-00: Business Russian C1. Wednesday 12-00: Grammar, verbs of movement A0-B1. Wednesday 14-00: Phonetics, intonation A0-B1. Wednesday 16-00: Russian for tourists A1-A2. Saturday 14-00: Russian for bilinguals 1st grade. Saturday 16-00: Russian for bilinguals, grade 3. Sunday 14-00: Russian for bilinguals 2nd grade. Sunday 16-00: Russian for bilinguals grade 4.
