My background & experienceTrainer of the national teams of Japan, Serbia and Switzerland in period 2006 - 2018 (different years and competitions of course). The teams I was coaching faced twice fantastic Magnus Carlsen and quite surprisingly he lost both games. Against Ivaniševic, the best Serbian player for a long time, in Greece 2007, and against Pelletier (best Swiss player for many years) in Reykjavik 2015.
My classes and teaching styleIn general want to develop recognizing patterns and skill in the game - not memorization by heart. Logical thinking helps a lot for that. Understanding is another important feature in chess, which provides that something once learned can stay long in mind.
My certificationsGM, peak rating 2601. Graduated chess coach at the Sport Academy (this school does not exist any more) in Belgrade. FIDE trainer.
