My background & experience
I was a trainer of the national teams of Japan, Serbia, and Switzerland in 2006 - 2018 (different years and competitions of course). The teams I was coaching faced the fantastic Magnus Carlsen twice and quite surprisingly, he lost both games. He lost against Ivaniševic, the best Serbian player for a long time, in Greece in 2007, and against Pelletier (best Swiss player for many years) in Reykjavik in 2015.My classes and teaching style
In general want to develop recognizing patterns and skill in the game - not memorization by heart. Logical thinking helps a lot for that. Understanding is another important feature in chess, which provides that something once learned can stay long in mind.My certifications
GM, peak rating 2601. Graduated chess coach at the Sport Academy (this school does not exist any more) in Belgrade. FIDE trainer. My classes
