What you'll learn

Practicing yoga has been associated with many positive outcomes in various aspects of physical performance and well-being. Many mental and physical benefits such as stress relief, body & mind relaxation, and healthy sleep patterns are useful for athletes who are prone to overexertion.

Your teacher

Elaine has taught yoga classes to international students over the past 4 years. Elaine began practicing Iyengar Yoga in 2015 and taught yoga since 2019. In 2016, she started her Iyengar yoga teacher training journey under George Dovas at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Hong Kong and obtained Level 1 certification. Iyengar Yoga Teachers undergo rigorous and in-depth training of three years before they can get certified (CIYTs). Before her relocation to Taiwan, she taught at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Hong Kong. Now, Elaine teaches group classes at Light of Yoga - Beitou studio in the hotspring region of Taipei and private yoga classes across Taiwan.
