Practice your Spanish to improve your fluency. Enjoy the best way to learn Spanish with a professional. I will listen and engage you in relaxed conversation. You will speak Spanish together with me and improve.

What you'll learn

My online Spanish classes are the best way to learn how to speak Spanish. You will be able to improve your Spanish fluency and hone your conversation skills through several tools.

Here are a few things we can do together in our online Spanish classes:

- Role-playing as: Small conversation before a business meeting, traveling to a Spanish-speaking country, ordering at a restaurant, interacting with doctors or nurses in Spanish, and so on.

- Discuss a variety of topics of your choice: movies, books, current issues, business, or anything that comes to mind.

While engaged in relaxed conversation you will combine what you know in Spanish. As you speak Spanish you also build your vocabulary. Also, polish your pronunciation and grammar in my online Spanish classes. I encourage you to come up with questions, which is the best way to learn Spanish as you need.

I will encourage you to use your previous knowledge of Spanish in conversation. Bring up topics that will engage your interest and make you comfortable. I will make sure you enjoy your classes, and stay motivated to learn, which is our top priority.
We will build on your fluency together and I will keep giving you feedback and corrections as needed. I introduce new idiomatic expressions, collocations, and formal clichés. Use these in business or social situations.

I will help you build your vocabulary and push you to use it in conversation as well as in short and quick exercises. Sometimes I'll lead you into an engaging conversation. I'll demand full focus on a specific grammar point, pronunciation exercise, or anything needing extra work.

We will work with materials I bring as well as materials and topics you may bring. This class is totally flexible to change gears to suit your preferences and needs.

We can work together on your work presentations, e-mails, and meeting preparations. Or, if you want, talk about any issues of your interests in just about anything that comes to mind.

Can't wait to see you in my Spanish class!

Meet Jackie Guiter,

Your teacher

I am an English-Spanish translator and teacher currently living in Spain. I first started teaching at NIU, Illinois, USA, as a Teaching Assistant, and once I graduated from my Master's degree I started to work as a Court interpreter and translator. After a few years I came to Spain, where I am teaching English and Spanish, while I still work as a translator (specialized in Psychology). Being a translator helps me better understand the process of learning a foreign language as an adult and develop my teaching and language coaching techniques. I enjoy researching and trying different techniques to create my classes and creating my own materials. On-line Teacher of English as a Second Language. Independent Language Consultant: Written Spanish to English and English to Spanish translation and consecutive interpretation for company clients in Spain. P.A. & Translator to the CEO at three different companies in Spain. Teacher of English as a Second Language for Professionals in Spain.
