1-1 Yoga for Menstrual Cycle with Elaine C | Amphy

1-1 Yoga for Menstrual Cycle

This nourishing practice will be a series of postures to help bring relief and support to your body during that time of the month when you need it most. We will work on the lower back, pelvis and abdomen. No prerequisites to this class.

What you'll learn

In classical yoga, it is advised that those menstruating practise a sequence specific to their condition rather than join in with the general class. This is because the body and mind are in a different state at this time. It is a time when the body tells its needs and discomforts more clearly. It is a time that welcomes us to turn inwards, to take more care in our yoga practice. Correct practice of a menstruation sequence can help to alleviate conditions of heaviness, aches, cramps and other menstrual disorders.

This class is perfect for

Anyone on menstrual cycle
