Crafting and inventing (The Second Circuit) (2)

In this class, a fairly simple and usable circuit will be created to improve the knowledge of circuits, (and also create a switch- on and off car).

What you'll learn

The circuit will be fairly easy to make, and someone with little knowledge about circuits would be able to make this. This will teach the student about voltage, resistance, and, (if done incorrectly), why motors 'burn'.

This class is perfect for

Beginners with little knowledge ( voltage, current, and resistance) about electronic circuits. (Also people who have attended the first class in this series.

Your Teacher

[object Object]
I have built an award-winning Robot (See https://artscouncilofsurrey.ca/arts2021-exhibition/ for details) . I also am working on building a version 2 of the same Robot that con be voice-controlled. I somewhat know about Arduino programming. I have learnt about electrical circuits from experimenting, and as a result I practically know about voltage, current, resistance, and other electrical items used in circuits. I also made an autonomous floor cleaning robot, but upgraded it to a remote-control car.

What students need

2x White/Yellow Light Emitting Diodes (small 3v DC ones), 2x Red Light Emitting Diodes (small 3v DC ones), 40 cm (The more the easier) Metal wire (Not the hard to bend ones) (Jumper wires would be better, but some metal wire is still needed), 4x AA batteries, AA battery frame (useful but not required), 4x Resistor (200 ohm),1x Switch (any switch that can be toggles on and off, and has two terminals will work), 1x tape, scissors, hot glue gun, hot glue, cardboard , 4x 3v dc motors with gearbox.
