1-1 Yoga Basics

This class teaches the fundamentals of yoga poses with focus on structural alignment. Poses will be taught to complement your body and health condition. No prerequisites required.

What you'll learn

We will practice standing postures, forward bends, backbends, and basic twists to work on mobility and stability. Ideal for those who are new to yoga and to those who have more experience.

Elaine has taught yoga and conversational Mandarin classes to international students over the past 4 years. //Mandarin classes with Elaine are designed and adapted specific to your needs and goals, whether that be to learn conversational Mandarin for travel, business, to pass exams, or to help you on your journey to become fluent.// Elaine completed a 3-year teacher apprenticeship program at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Hong Kong. She has since taught group classes at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Hong Kong and 1-1 yoga classes privately. To enhance her clients' approach to yoga practice, Elaine is also undertaking further education in nutrition coaching with the goal to be a source of knowledge to encourage more of us to approach “deep health” across multiple dimensions: physical, mental, emotional, existential, relational-social and environmental.
