Modern Craft cocktail course aimed at teaching 2 craft cocktails that you can make for yourself, family, and friends at home or away again and again.


What you'll learn

A full guided demonstration of how to make 2 summer themed cocktails to get you ready for beach season or your next Tiki party!

How to make a: 

Mojito
Rum, Mint, Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, and a top off of Seltzer 
Recommended Glassware: Rocks Glass
Garnish: Sprig of Mint and a Lime Wheel

Bahama Mama
Rum, (Homemade) Grenadine, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice, Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
Recommended Glassware: Tiki, Hurricane, or Collins Glass
Garnish: Orange Wheel, or Pineapple leaves, or Lemon Wheel 
(Mini Cocktail Umbrella Optional)

What is a mixology course if they don’t teach you some basic bartending knowledge too?

You will also learn:
-Identification and proper use of a jigger, muddler, cocktail strainers, bar spoon, multiple cocktail shakers and mixing glass
- Brief knowledge of the making of our main ingredient: Rum! 
- How and when to properly Shake and Strain or Stir and Strain a cocktail
- Basic components of a well balanced cocktail
and how cocktails are split up into categories.
- How to properly garnish a drink
- Brief history of the cocktails being made

Anyone and Everyone! Whether you are new to the world of cocktails to experienced mixologists looking to learn more about their craft. This course is light, fun, and easy drinking!

After several years of experience behind the bar, Avi left the bar scene but not before discovering the world of Modern Craft Cocktails and Speakeasies. Avi has continued bartending from home as a hobby for family and friends. Avi’s passion lead to the creation of @jazzagecocktails on Instagram and Jazz Age Cocktails Mixology courses.

What students need

• Liquor, Mixers, and other ingredients listed
•Garnishes
•Simple Syrup (1:1 sugar & hot water)
•Cocktail Shaker (or a 12 oz Mason Jar)
•Cocktail Jigger (or something to measure 0.5 oz and 1 oz)
• Towel/ Placemat for spills (Spills are always inevitable, even for professionals)
• Muddler or a wooden spoon
•Cocktail Strainer
• Ice cubes (one ice cube tray worth)
• Citrus juicer and strainer
• Knife and cutting board
• Tumbler glass (Rocks glass)
•Tiki or Hurricane Glass (a tall drinking glass)
