Buttercream Chills

This class will teach you to make perfect buttercream that will give you chills haha. In this class, we will learn three different buttercream recipes, each with its own unique purpose.


What you'll learn

Who knew creaming butter and sugar can spark fear in so many people. Well, I’m here to teach you to make three different buttercream forstings that will help you take your cake decorating skill to the next level. In this class you will learn bhow to make the following:
Classic american buttercream (crusting): The easiest one out of the three recipes.
Praneet’s american buttercream recipe: In this recipe, I took the classic american buttercream recipe and modified it to fit people’s taste buds by not making it too sweet or grainy.
Swiss meringue buttercream: This meringue based buttercream will make you realise why you love eating cake so much haha. This recipe is a little more advanced the other two recipes in this class.
This class will be divided into segments.
Segment 1: Measuring ingredients and talking about how buttercreams are made and how people allaround the world make it. We also talk in theory and why it’s sich a good method.
Segment 2: American buttercream, In this segment we will learn about the classic buttercream that all my american friends love using. I’ll take you through the step by step process of how I make this frosting.
Segment 3: My favourite recipe ever!! In this segment, I’ll take you through making my frosting and I’ll help you understand how you can avoid grains in your buttercream and get that meringue based buttercream look.
Segment 4:In this segment, I’ll teach you howto make the smbc(Swiss Meringue Buttercream) everyone is always talking about. Everything from how to split eggs, stablising eggwhites to finally making the buttercream. 
Note: Each of these segments will be 30-40mins long and they will include Q/A parts too! I’ll teach you how you can fix your buttercream fails, store your frosting, etc.
Segment 6: You will learn a few easy buttercream decorating hacks that would help you in the long term running your business.
Segment 5: In this segment, you will learn how to get deep and bright colors out of your buttercream.

I've been a keen teacher and I've always loved sharing my knowledge with my followers on Instagram and I've been doing that for two years. I've also trained amateur chefs to decorate cakes in order for them to set up their own bakery.

What students need

Ingredients:
Passion for baking
Unsalted Butter (A lot)
Icing sugar
Eggs
Vanilla extract
Gel colors
Fresh cream
Salt
Equipment: Clean mixing bowls, Handmixer/stand mixer(with whip attachment/ paddle attachment), Whisk, spatulas, Sifter, Sauce pan. Stove top, Cling wrap, Piping tips, piping bags, kitchen scale.
