1-1 Yoga for Athletes

Yoga is a great complement to sports (running, cycling, surfing, racket sports, golf, etc.). Come join me on the mat! No prerequisites to this class.


What you'll learn

Practicing yoga has been associated with many positive outcomes in various aspects of physical performance and well-being. Many mental and physical benefits such as stress relief, body & mind relaxation, and healthy sleep patterns are useful for athletes who are prone to overexertion.

Elaine has taught yoga and conversational Mandarin classes to international students over the past 4 years. //Mandarin classes with Elaine are designed and adapted specific to your needs and goals, whether that be to learn conversational Mandarin for travel, business, to pass exams, or to help you on your journey to become fluent.// Elaine completed a 3-year teacher apprenticeship program at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Hong Kong. She has since taught group classes at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Hong Kong and 1-1 yoga classes privately. To enhance her clients' approach to yoga practice, Elaine is also undertaking further education in nutrition coaching with the goal to be a source of knowledge to encourage more of us to approach “deep health” across multiple dimensions: physical, mental, emotional, existential, relational-social and environmental.

What students need

2 Blankets (or towels), 1 bolster (or a few cushions), 2 bricks (or heavy books of similar size), yoga mat
