This lunch time (MST) class is designed for those new to the practice of mindfulness meditation. Learn evidence based techniques, tools and practices to improve well-being and reduce stress. Individuals from all time zones welcome.

What you'll learn

Mindfulness is the process of bringing one’s attention to internal and external experiences occurring in the present moment. Decades of successful research studies have demonstrated that the practice of mindfulness is strongly correlated to a greater sense of well-being and to overall wellness. Mindfulness has also found to be effective in reducing anxiety and worry within the workplace and in school settings. Increased resilience, the development of a growth mindset and balancing the nervous system are benefits to a mindfulness meditation practice. In addition, it is a supportive tool that can support one’s ability to calm, connect and cultivate self-awareness at any age.

Your Teacher

I have been teaching professionally since 2003 when I began my career as a classroom teacher. I am curious soul with a passion for all things wellness and personal development. My training and certifications include both conventional and non-conventional fields of study. I have taught in both public school settings as well as private wellness settings. I offer a variety of programs, events, coaching, and workshops.

What students need

A quiet, distraction free space is ideal for this class.
A comfortable chair, mat, or cushion with a blanket or pillow.
