We will start the lessons with the correction of the homework I gave in the previous lesson! We will then continue by advancing the subject and I will answer all the student's questions!

What you'll learn

Learn how to play chess like a master. Dive deep into what it takes to make the best chess moves and win chess games. I will give you tips, tricks, and insights from my experience as a child prodigy and beyond.

Overview
Here is a peek at what you will learn by taking my online live chess class.

Best chess moves
Learn chess moves used by grandmasters to outplay the other player. Important for making quick chess moves and smart decisions.

Thinking ahead
How to outsmart your chess opponent by thinking a few steps ahead of them. Chess is all about foresight. If you want to learn how to play chess you must learn this skill.

Problem-solving,
A key chess skill you need to develop is problem-solving. Things change fast during a chess game and players must always be able to adapt. You may have a plan but when the opponent makes unexpected moves this creates a new problem. The best chess players know how to react and change plans when this happens.

Memory training
What does memory have to do with a board game? The truth is, the more you can keep in your head the better you will play. We will practice remembering the best basic or advanced chess moves like the queen’s gambit.

When I was younger, I enrolled in every chess lesson my school offered. I quickly classed in the top 3 of Quebec and Canada (number 1 in the last two years I played). I competed until the under 16 age category, where I stopped playing. I now love to share my knowledge of this amazing game! I've been teaching chess for almost 3 years now. I've taught in elementary schools, high schools, clubs, libraries, and in private lessons. I also have experience with tutoring, teaching french, and animation. Can't wait to meet you in class!
