What you'll learn

A well-structured chess thinking system is absolutely critical for every chess player to win more games! In my online lessons, I focus on helping my students develop a well-structured chess thinking system along with training methods that will help them reduce mistakes & find strong moves while also increasing their general understanding of chess strategy.

This class is designed to initially introduce & help develop a well-structured chess thinking system through well established training methods followed by sessions that cover key aspects of chess strategy such as Activity, Opening Strategy, Middlegame Strategy, Endgame Strategy, Decision making through Evalulation/Calculation & Chess Psychology. I use my own personal tournament & online games (wins and losses) as instructive examples and also look at the students games & analyze them deeply move by move to find instructive learning moments to build on.

At the end of the 1st class, you will receive a 1-page summary of your chess thinking system & a training plan to develop it further.

In 2018, I became an ACO World Amateur Champion, by winning the ACO World Chess Championship event in Greece in the 1600-1800 category. I did this despite being an unrated player amongst ~80 rated players from 16 countries with a rating performance of 1991. Great lesson! The fundamentals were laid out and the most exciting bit was going over my games and analysing why some positions were dubious
