Chess Lessons by Amateur World Champion (Advanced)

In this class, I will show you how to apply your chess thinking system at all phases of the game (opening, middlegame, endgame) & also explain how to analyze your chess games (including using Chess engines/databases) to learn from your wins/losses.

What you'll learn

In this class we will build on the Basic class to develop & strengthen your chess thinking system further.

We will discuss about: 1) Applying your chess thinking system at all phases of the game (opening, middlegame, endgame) in greater detail by reviewing several examples 2) Resources/Methods to train your thinking system further for each phase of the game 3) Delve deeper into one of the most important training methods - critical analysis of your own games 4) Using chess software effectively (engines, databases etc.) for your game analysis & other training.

At the end of the class you will have a 1-page summary of your chess thinking system (based on your current level of strength) as applied to each phase of the game, refine your training plan further for each phase of the game & knowledge on how to select/use specific chess software for your analysis/training.

What students need

1) Preferably take the trial or basic class first so that I can understand your chess strength & we can build a foundational thinking system. 2) An account in any online platform such as Chess.com, LiChess.org, PlayChess.com etc. where you've played a few games that we can use for analysis using your thinking system. (alternatively we can use a database of your games)
