Genre & Individual Style as a Photographer

withArtu N

A 2-hour partial portfolio review to help students discover their signature as a photographer.

What you'll learn

As a professional photographer in the Philippines, I’ve had to wear many hats to keep my craft a sustainable one. Shuffling from one genre to the next, it took a while until I found a comfortable niche that suited my personal style. In this 90-minute session, I will be sharing my journey as a lensman, how I ultimately discovered which genre of photography to specialize in, and how I developed a style owing to my newfound specialization.

This will be a popcorn-style class where anyone may ask a question about their craft (or perhaps even mine) at any point. By the end of this workshop, you will have a better understanding of what questions you need to ask yourself as a photographer and how that can serve as a guide to your career (with your specialization, curation, and personal style in mind).
