In this ongoing weekly Mindfulness class Teens will learn to train their minds to stay present, calm, & focus, manage their thoughts & emotions, and make better choices! I offer different types of guided mindfulness practices in each class.

What you'll learn

My clients will learn a variety of guided meditation practices designed to increase attention, self-regulation, empathy, and the ability to respond skillfully to challenging situations instead of reacting impulsively. They are encouraged to practice meditation regularly. Ongoing instruction and reflection opportunities create a strong foundation for a lifelong practice. 

They will have the opportunity to experience one guided meditation per week. Each meditation will be different, with a unique focus each time. Studies show that meditation can lead to more focus, creativity, happiness, better health, and less stress. We are under a lot of stress and anxiety these days, and meditation has proven to be something that can help. 

Mindful Meditation topics include:
Mindfulness of body, breath and sounds, Mindful awareness, Compassion and Self-compassion Meditation, Mindful Appreciation, Generosity, helping others, Mindful Positivity, Mindful Body Scan, Smile, Gratitude & Appreciation, Stop Mindfully, Mindful walking, Mountain meditation, and more.

Teens, ages:13 - 18, in this weekly ongoing class, students will have the opportunity to experience various guided secular meditations to reduce stress, improve their focus, creativity, and well-being.

Your teacher

I am a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor. I teach Mindfulness practices to Adults, Teens, and Kids. I myself practice mindfulness meditation for over 30 years now and have been teaching Mindfulness in-person and virtually via FaceTime, Zoom & WhatsApp for over 7 years now. Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to our inner & outer experiences with openness and curiosity. We notice our experiences without judgment and with kindness. Mindfulness Meditation practices help us to stay focused and present with any task on hand, we learn to become aware of our thoughts, emotions, feelings, and bodily sensations, observe them non-judgementally and manage them mindfully. Through self-awareness and mindfulness training we also learn to be more compassionate and caring towards ourselves and others. I love to help as many people as I can and bring the gift of mindfulness meditation practices to their lives, help them to reduce the stresses of daily life, and live a happier, healthier, and more harmonious life!
