Organize Your Kitchen for Thanksgiving
What you'll learn
We will follow my tried and tested, 3-step method that consists of (1) decluttering, (2) space planning and (3) organizing. We will begin by taking a virtual tour of your kitchen and pantry (no need to tidy up beforehand!), discussing your pain points, and chatting about how to utilize your available storage space so it supports you throughout the upcoming holiday season. We will pay particular attention to "prime real estate" areas, vertical space, and general versus specific groupings. We will talk through removing everything from your cabinets, drawers, shelves and counter tops, and then I will guide you through sorting each item into categories. After taking stock of all that you own, we will begin the editing process during which I will ask targeted questions to help you determine which items bring you joy and which items no longer serve you. I will walk you through how to arrange the products and tools you decide to keep, and finally, I will suggest bins, baskets, drawer dividers and labels that create an aesthetically-pleasing, elevated look and that make maintenance a breeze. You will receive a list of concrete steps to take following this class, and you will walk away feeling prepared for the Thanksgiving holiday. Gobble up this class before it's gone!
