In this class you will learn basic English phonics. You will learn the sounds that the letters of the alphabet make and how to begin blending the sounds together. It is the first step to learning to read English.
What you'll learn
We will be going through the letters of the alphabet, learning the sound that each letter makes. As we learn the sounds we will also learn how to blend them together, before moving on to reading basic three-letter words. Students will learn to build up and break down words into their phonetic sounds. They will learn how to group words into word families. This is a great introduction to learning to read English texts.

I have been teaching for over ten years. Nine of those were spent teaching young students whose native language was not English. I developed a passion and love for teaching English as a second language. It is so rewarding to see a student have that lightbulb moment where they grasp what you are teaching them!
I have a bachelor's degree in education as well as having completed a TEFL certification. In addition to these, I have completed a variety of workshops on how to assist students with different barriers to learning. I don't think that a teacher can ever stop learning how to better teach his or her students.
