8 weeks Mindfulness Course for Kids, Ages 7-11
What you'll learn
This course is perfect for any child and will empower them to better understand their feelings & emotions while learning Mindfulness techniques and activities they can use in their daily lives. I have been teaching Mindfulness practices to students for over seven years now, and have seen amazing benefits and changes in children. They learn to respond wisely instead of reacting blindly to any given situation. I believe that Mindfulness is not just sitting still and being calm, but is more about bringing presence and fully showing up to everything we do in life. I teach Mindfulness in a fun and engaging way so kids can use the tools in their lives! Students learn different types of Mindfulness practices and Games as lesson Title's below: Week 1: Introduction to Mindfulness, Mindful Bodies, Mindful Listening, Mindfulness of Breathing, and anchor. Week 2: Heartfulness, Sending Kind Thoughts, Body Awareness, Body Scan Week 3: Heartfulness, Generosity, Mindfulness of breathing ( Staying at your base). Week 4: Mindfulness of our thoughts using anchor words to direct our attention back to this moment, Mindful seeing. Mindfulness and Your Brain ( Brain Science) Week 5: Heartfulness - Kind and Caring on the Playground, Mindfulness of our Emotions, using emojis to teach them, and show glitter jar - Creating Space or Show Me, Tell Me Week 6: Slow movement, Gratitude, looking for the Good Week 7: Mindful walking, Mindful eating Week 8: Mindful Test Taking, poppy dog mind, being mindful every day, ending review Students will learn it through lessons, mindful game cards, different mindful breathing movements, and books I utilize in each lesson.

I am a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor. I teach Mindfulness practices to Adults, Teens, and Kids. I myself practice mindfulness meditation for over 30 years now and have been teaching Mindfulness in-person and virtually via FaceTime, Zoom & WhatsApp for over 7 years now. Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to our inner & outer experiences with openness and curiosity. We notice our experiences without judgment and with kindness. Mindfulness Meditation practices help us to stay focused and present with any task on hand, we learn to become aware of our thoughts, emotions, feelings, and bodily sensations, observe them non-judgementally and manage them mindfully. Through self-awareness and mindfulness training we also learn to be more compassionate and caring towards ourselves and others. I love to help as many people as I can and bring the gift of mindfulness meditation practices to their lives, help them to reduce the stresses of daily life, and live a happier, healthier, and more harmonious life!
