For wine lovers who want to learn how to taste wine like a professional Sommelir.
I have been in the hospitality business for over ten years. I went through a lot of positions in the restaurant, from waiter to Matre’D and Restaurant Manager. Considering that I have had contact with wines since the beginning of my career, in 2015 I decided to dedicate myself to wines and start learning more and more about wines and becoming a Certified Sommelier after a while. For the last four years, I have worked as a Head Sommelier for one of the leading cruise lines, the Norwegian Cruise Line. As my job description was to travel, I visited some of the leading wine countries and regions in the world: France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Austria, California, Argentina, Chile and many others. My job description was to supervise the complete wine service on board with 5000 guests. Next to that, I have trained more than 1000 staff members regarding wine service and knowledge. I also organized a lot of fun for my guests making interesting tastings of wine and cheese, wine and chocolate, New World vs. Old World, Champagne tasting and many others.
