Spanish through current affairs
What you'll learn
In these lessons we will pick up some interesting topics from the news so you will be able to discuss them in the second part of the lesson. Firstly, we will warm up with some general activities or questions and then you will go over the basic expressions related to the topic. Each lesson will be based on real news (a short article, a news bulletin, audiovisuals, etc.) with some interesting language items. Finally, you will discuss that topic with me, putting into practice the phrases you have seen during the lesson and using some structures for debating.

Graduated in Hispanic Philology and Masters in Applied French, I have always kept up with my teaching training and have recently completed a CELTA course. This further training has provided me with the familiarity to different teaching methodologies, which have proven to be extremely useful in my classes.
I have worked as a Spanish teacher for 12 years, both in-person and online. My job duties typically include designing and delivering Spanish courses for all levels. Also an English teacher and a 12 year-experienced translator.
