Learn Networking for Journalism in the NFL
What you'll learn
My path to becoming the leading Insider for the NFL Network has been long, unpredictable, and with one common theme — getting to know the right people and build meaningful relationships with them. Ever since I graduated from Columbia University and began a career that has included covering Mississippi State and University of Alabama football programs along with the Patriots coverage for the Boston Herald, the search for relationships has guided me. Nothing has helped me tell the audience a little more as much as building a rapport with the right people. It sparked my career as a sportswriter, expert, and television analyst. Topics that will be discussed in this course include: - Networking - Reading the room / Working the room - Professionalism - Ethical Journalism - Social Media vs. Journalism
