Meet Jennifer Mudicka,

Your teacher

Hi there! My name is Jennifer and I've been teaching yoga since 2008. I teach traditional Hatha yoga as well as yin and gentle flow classes. In my own daily practice, the postures I choose are always based on how I am feeling that day and I design my classes and guide my students in the same way. At the end of 2007, I made the journey to Mysore, India where I studied with my teacher Bharath Shetty at Indea Yoga for two months. It was an intensive teacher training program that included asana practice, anatomy, pranayama (breathing exercises), chanting in Sanskrit, meditation and yoga philosophy as well as kriyas- a purification system for the body. What I loved about my training is how traditional and holistic it was- an approach that I bring to my teaching today. I adapt each class for the students that I am working with based on their history, including any previous injuries or current challenges they are facing.
