Elementary English
What you'll learn
In this class we will learn the building blocks of Elementary/Beginner English. What this means, is that we will learn about: - common verbs(to feel, to eat, to run, etc.) - pronouns(I, me, you, he, she, it, etc.) - common descriptive adverbs(quickly, slowly, brightly, dimly, etc.) - common descriptive adjectives(beautiful, ugly, clean, dirty, etc.) - question words and how to ask a question(“What” is that? “How” are you? “Where” are you from? Etc.) - basic sentence structure(subject + verb, subject + verb + object, etc.) - introductions(Hello, my name is.../Where are you from?/What’s you’re profession?) - common phrases(Hey, what’s up?/I’m running late/See you later/etc.) There is much more we can learn together, but that should give you a good idea of what you can expect to learn from this class. If you have any questions at all, please send me a message and I’ll be happy to answer you. Thanks for checking out my class and I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Anyone who wants to start learning the English language or improve their existing English skills. Young and Adult learners are welcome, as are foreign and domestic learners.
I have over 2 and half years of experience, and I have an Advanced Software Engineering certification from Hack Reactor (owned by Galvanize) and many other certifications regarding Open Source Intelligence gathering, penetration testing and software development.
I am most skilled with web development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, NGINX, Express, and much much more including frameworks such as React(Class Components and Hooks), React Router, Next.js, jQuery, EJS, MaterialUI, Bootstrap, Styled Components, and CSS Modules. I am also very comfortable working from the command line via Windows CMD prompt, Windows Powershell, BASH and ZSH.
When it comes to more backend specific technologies for the web, native operating systems, and even mobile applications, I also have experience with languages such as Java (
for web servers/APIs, Desktop applications, and mobile applications) including the Spring framework, Kotlin for Android specific development, Python (Desktop applications and web servers/APIs), and Golang for web servers/APIs.
Concerning teaching English, I have 3 separate certifications to teach English as a foreign language and I have about 2 years of experience teaching students from around the world. I also speak Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, and some Russian and Spanish. Currently, however, I am only offering a Conversational English class, because I am focused on software engineering and development.
