Looking to start your yoga practice, to build strength and find your flexibility, start in a beginners mind. To a beginners theres a lot of possibilities. This class will focus on the breath and how it connect the body to the mind.

What you'll learn

The class will begin with a breathing exercise, to help students build endurance in the practice. We will also focus on beginners sequence which will centre on functional alignment of the body base on ones limitations and ability to go deeper in the pose. Flexibility is not required in this class. We will build up the pose step by step with safe and creative transitions. Students will be guided how to go into the pose as well as how to come out of the pose. We will gradually increase intensity once warm up is done to build strength and counter balance with moving towards flexibility sequence. The class will end in Savasana, and guided mindfulness meditation to integrate the practice deeper into the body.
