Avoid Being Sabotaged by Emotional Triggers
What you'll learn
Have you ever heard ...“I shut down when someone yells”?, or “I get so angry when I’m interrupted”? One person can be terribly aggravated by a “those are nice shoes” comment, while someone else might be indifferent or flattered. Why are we affected by different things? Turns out that triggers say a lot about us: our story, our current state, and how we interact with the environment. They can lead the way, showing us our weak spots and areas screaming for self-improvement. In this workshop, we dive into the internal processes behind a trigger and how they can shine a light on the things we need to work on. What will we talk about? - Every event is neutral - How do we internalize it? - Dealing with emotion - Working with thoughts - Finding the growth opportunity - Integrating This workshop is designed to get insights into your own triggers, finding areas for improvement while keeping it casual, that’s how we roll!
This class is perfect for
Those who notice they get triggered by something, and are would like to explore why.
I have a purpose, to help individuals live intentional lives. And found a wonderful tool to aid me: Psychology. I have been studying (and living) it for over 13 years. I hold Master's from the University of Groningen, and (most importantly) know hundreds of stories from my life and the people I crossed paths with.
Because knowledge without experience is incomplete, I also make sure to live a life of intention. Curiosity leads me through strange paths, from settling in a new continent to being a digital nomad. I think life is the greatest teacher and I squeeze every bit of learning I can from every experience.
