What you'll learn

Mindfulness is the core of social emotional learning. Mindfulness practices help with emotional regulation, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills, and decision-making.

Sessions will be introductory and easy to learn. The mindfulness lessons offer stress-reduction tools, increase focus and productivity, and bring happiness to your personal and professional life. In each session you will learn different techniques that can help you to stay in the present moment and live a healthier and happier life.

In my private mindfulness meditation sessions, you will receive practical techniques that can easily be incorporated into your day. You will learn to give your mind a break to relax and release all the tensions and stresses of daily life. You will learn to bring awareness to your thoughts, emotions, feelings, and bodily sensations; observe them non-judgmentally, and manage them mindfully. You will learn to be mindful of your five senses, we practice being mindful of our breath, our bodies, sounds, smell, taste and touch. We will cultivate practices of Gratitude, Generosity,Compassion & Forgiveness. So you will become self-aware, more caring and compassionate towards yourself and others.

Meet Gita Nilforoush,

Your teacher

I am a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor. I teach Mindfulness practices to Adults, Teens, and Kids. I myself practice mindfulness meditation for over 30 years now and have been teaching Mindfulness in-person and virtually via FaceTime, Zoom & WhatsApp for over 7 years now. Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to our inner & outer experiences with openness and curiosity. We notice our experiences without judgment and with kindness. Mindfulness Meditation practices help us to stay focused and present with any task on hand, we learn to become aware of our thoughts, emotions, feelings, and bodily sensations, observe them non-judgementally and manage them mindfully. Through self-awareness and mindfulness training we also learn to be more compassionate and caring towards ourselves and others. I love to help as many people as I can and bring the gift of mindfulness meditation practices to their lives, help them to reduce the stresses of daily life, and live a happier, healthier, and more harmonious life!
